MEASURE AGAIN

Lastly, measure again.

Repeat the twenty-five question baseline questionnaire that boys completed at the start of the process.

Once the questionnaire has been explained by an educator, it takes boys, on average, five minutes to complete this task.

Setting up the questionnaire

Simply re-run the questionnaire that was used for the baseline measure.

You may want to duplicate the Microsoft Form that you used for the pre-baseline measure, and name it “post-baseline”.

Key Considerations

  • Time Interval

An interval of 12 weeks between the baseline questionnaire and measuring again works well. This can be shortened or extended.

  • Responses

Aim to get all of the boys and young men who completed the pre-baseline questionnaire to complete the same questionnaire again as a post-baseline measure.

  • Analyse

Compare the data from the pre and post baseline measure. Identify any changes and consider possibilities for these changes. Involve boys and young men in this analysis process.

  • Act

The boys quadrant is cyclical. The post-baseline measure acts as a new baseline measure, informing a fresh cycle of intentional practice, collaborative inquiry, and measuring again.
