BASELINE MEASURE

The baseline measure is very simple - ask the boys and young men.

There are twenty-five questions that boys are asked to respond to on a five-point scale.

Once the questionnaire has been explained by an educator, it takes boys, on average, ten minutes to complete this task.

The questions are grouped around five standout themes from the TBS research

  • Voice

  • Influence

  • Interdependence

  • Belonging

  • Being a Boy

Managing and sharing data

Only the creator of the duplicated questionnaire will have access to the data.

Please consider sharing the annonymised data with the TBS team by downloading the excel sheet, deleting the name column, and sending it as an attachment to tbs2research@gmail.com.

This will enable an accumulative mass of boys and young men’s voices that will provide important insights for policy, pedagogy, and practice development.
